The model is intended for Installation in the sink and washing line.

The benefit of using a DRR-K assembly is the ability to use the full diameter of the inlet to the grinder. It is perfect when a large amount of food waste is to be ground simultaneously and when the waste itself requires a large inlet, i.e., bones.

Food waste can continuously enter the grinding unit, but a protection lid will prevent accidental access to the rotating grinding unit during operation. The protection lid is fitted with a limit switch which stops the disposer motor when the lid is lifted.

Standard delivery includes complete contactor with motor protector, flushing nozzle for installation in sink wall, and complete solenoid valve with line strainer. Food waste disposers within the 500 Excellent Series features grinders of specially alloyed steel, housings and mounting assemblies of stainless steel EN 1.4301 (AISI304), and a protection class of IP55 – all assuring long life expectancy and operational reliability.
